Stayin' at home in Hanahan, SC

It has been quite a while since I posted to this blog, and I wouldn't want my myriads of readers to get the idea that I had quit. When we are not traveling, there is certainly a lot less to write about. I have posted a few self-explanatory pictures. The doe was a dawn picture. I don't do many of them. The tree in the back yard is a Bradford pear in bloom...and it turns red in the fall. The rainbow just popped up for a few brilliant moments one evening. You could actually see both ends and everything in between. When I stepped around the corner to capture the complete expanse, my camera said, "memory full"! ARRGHH!
On the 13th of April we'll head up to Huntington Beach (SC) State Park to spend a week with Mart and Ann who are northbound to their spot in NH. Then, on 13 May, we'll head to Westchester, NY for my 50th college reunion. The following weekend I'll be participating in some of the graduation activities at West Point to include some black tie stuff and breakfast at the Supe's house. I hope I can get some memorable pictures without acting too touristy.

Beautiful pictures. Is the tree also called an ornamental pear? I want one here. Have fun in your travels.
