Kevin, Part II

As promised, we went to the Hominy Grill for supper.  It was close.  Kevin got back from an 0900 interview at 1730, and we had a reservation at 1800.  I dropped him off at 1802 while I parked and walked back.  It worked, and he loved it.  The next picture is taken from one that he took with his phone of a postcard of the place.

It has been fun having him here.  Tonight he and Durelle took Baxter for his  evening walk.  They met a couple who are both Furman grads.  It was  Furman that Plymouth State beat to win the Div. III rugby championship.  It's a small world!
The Hominy Grill is an old Charleston tradition.  They have all of the old Low Country specialties: shrimp and grits, grilled flounder, fried green tomatoes, boiled peanuts, she crab soup, smoked brisket, etc., etc. The pictures below are, in order, catfish plate and shrimp bog.

Here's a good picture of Kevin and Durelle.

A good time was had by all.
